![]() ![]() I am uninstalling from Programs and Features and don't really want to go install Firefox because I already have 80+ tabs running each time I use chrome using the Tabs Outliner plugin. I just know that before, the plugin was browser specific and did not call a external program and that was working fine and then there was the external player which was fine until reboot then it would be stuck on initializing. I haven't really used DISH Anywhere all that often. exe installer with Chrome already closed and EDGE still open was easier. exe file was downloaded in EDGE so I wonder if it makes a difference if the file is downloaded from Chrome itself as I can't do a uninstall while Chrome is still running so naturally downloading the. It seems like the error is part of initalizing which many people had it stuck on initializing but ofcourse the Hopper 3 came out after the current DISH Anywhere Slingplayer which came out in December 2015. ![]() I have 1607 with all the latest updates as well. I wished there was a way to diagnose this since not even sure how it figures the free space available. Since DISH Support in their forums said they will have a new version out in early October and then later gave me a 10/04 date which is 2 days away, maybe it's better to wait until then. What I couldn't figure out is if I do a uninstall and reinstall, it will still call the DishAnywherePlayer.exe which works fine except it doesn't run in the system tray until after the reboot. I'll give Firefox a try later but don't they all call the same external DISH Anywhere Slingplayer which actually runs outside the browser. It's only playback from the DVR or Live Streaming, basically anything that comes from the Hopper 3 itself that is the problem.ĭISH's own Support Forums representatives told me that a new update to the DISH Anywhere Slingplayer will be released on 10/04, hopefully it's 2016. Video On Demand appears to work fine in all browsers. ![]() I wanted to also note that in Google Chrome, it appears that for Video On Demand, it uses a Chrome plug-in instead of the DISH Anywhere Slingplayer like it does on other browsers like IE and EDGE. Then ofcourse rebooting will cause the same issue with the same error 11 as mentioned above and using the same fix will remedy the problem. I uninstalled DISH Anywhere Video Player 2.29.3 and DishAnywhereDesktop 1.1.0.384 from Control Panel -> Programs and Features. I have a 2TB SSD and basically there is 1.3TB of free space available as the entire OS and data are all running on the C: drive so space is not the issue. When I goto in Google Chrome or Microsoft EDGE or IE 11, DISH Anywhere Slingplayer opens and does the initialization and then connecting and basically it will say: However, after I reboot, DISH Anywhere Slingplayer runs in the system tray as part of startup automatically. There is no DISH Anywhere Slingplayer running in the system tray. I can get Watch Live TV to work fine from using DISH Anywhere Slingplayer in Google Chrome or Microsoft EDGE or IE 11. I then went to which installed DISH Anywhere Video Player 2.29.3 and DishAnywhereDesktop 1.1.0.384. I'm running Windows 10 Home Version 1607 (Build 14393.187) 64 bit and it appears originally I had the problem with DISH Anywhere Slingplayer stuck on initializing which was fixed when I uninstalled DISH Anywhere Video Player 2.29.3 and DishAnywhereDesktop 1.1.0.384 from Control Panel -> Programs and Features. ![]()

![]() ![]() I have pretty active parents at my school and I mainly use to run my stations on Field day (along with a few of the non-homeroom teachers at my school). No matter how you swing it, you’re going to need some help. A few examples are ( Hula Hut Relays, Cross the River and Spot Shot ) 4.) Recruit Volunteers Some of the games we play are just spin offs from lessons that we’ve already taught throughout the year in Physical Education class. This year we created a game off the “bottle flipping” trend and had a Cone Flip Relay ( here’s an Instagram Video Example) that was a pretty big hit. See the “starting positions” page of my Teacher Field Day Packet below to see the stations I used this year and how we organize the activities (there are 2 empty slots at the 2 resting stations since we didn’t want anyone to start there for their first station):Įach year, I switch out a few activities to keep it interesting for the kids and to try out a few new games. ![]() I create 18 stations ( here’s a few examples) because we have 16 homerooms in 3rd – 5th Grade, so that allows me to plan out our Field Day with 2 empty slots so that nobody has to start out at a “Rest and Refresh Station” Each year I plan out 16 game/activity stations and 2 “rest and refresh” stations (water break or an icee pop). Now that you know what you’re doing, it’s time to plan your activities.įor me this means choosing 18 different stations that my students will rotate through during our Field Day. I have always done the “Station Activities Format”, because when I asked for feedback the consensus from my teachers and administration is to plan a day that is based around having fun with friends and using teamwork and good sportsmanship (which also aligns really well with my PE Program Goals) 3.) Plan the Activities I don’t think there’s a right or wrong answer for what Field Day format is “best”, it really comes down to what’s best for your school and what your admin, teachers and most importantly students would enjoy and benefit from the most. There are probably other types of Field Day Formats and you can even mix the ones above up and combine them if you want, but those are the 3 main categories I’ve seen. You setup a bunch of station activities and games around the school and classes rotate through all of the different activities on a timed schedule throughout the day. You might have a concession stand with refreshments and a bounce house or obstacle course There might be a dunking booth setup, cake walk and other games or activities that you might see at a carnival or state fair. ![]() This format is more of a party or festival style of an event.Long jump, 100 meter race, 400 meter relay, discus throw, hurdles (google “track and field events” for a ton of additional ideas).Normally you would split up each event by grade level and by male/female. This is the format where you have students from each class compete in different track and field style events to determine winners in each event. There are lots of different ways to run Field Day, the three most common ones I’ve seen and heard about from others are below: Your perfect date will depend on your specific situation, but putting it on the calendar is the first thing you’ll want to do in your Field Day Planning Process. So one of the changes I requested after getting the full time job at my school was to move the date back to March and the weather has been incredible for all except one of those days (we had to do indoor Field Day once because of rain – more info on that later).Īnother bonus of having Field Day earlier in the year is getting it out of the way before we have to deal with schedule interrupters like end of the year testing, end of the year events, graduations, finalizing report card grades and other similar end of the year school events. We even had a parent volunteer pass out one year – no joke! My school used to hold Field Day at the end of school in June, the issue with that was that it would sometimes be over 100 degrees outside and the kids, parents and teachers were all totally exhausted and overheated by the time it was over. This will vary depending on your situation and weather where you are.įor me the perfect Field Day Date is the last day of school right before Spring Break, usually at the end of March. Step one is picking out a good date for your Field Day. Shattered Memories ' gameplay focuses on completion of psychological tests which alter in-game elements while in the first setting, and exploration, puzzle solving, and monster evasion when in the second setting. Other owners have also sold recently, tempted by attractive offers for sought-after property, Schmidt and Clemen said. But I’m learning and a day without learning is a day wasted in my opinion. I’m not really tech savvy, I’m still learning how to put my info into some of these gadgets. It is a nice little gadget but it would be great if I could somehow incorporate this into my digital clock somehow. Is this supposed to REPLACE my gadgets or is this somehow supposed to fix my problem with the gadgets ?! I’ve went and checked all the settings that I knew of and even checked my firewall and defender but can’t find it.Īnyone out there got any suggestions for me? I miss my weather reports. I was wondering if that same setting could be giving me troubles again, but I can’t for the life of me remember where it’s at. Microsoft messed around with a setting in Windows Defender and got my burners recognized again by deleting the apps name off of a list of allowed apps in some setting in defender. But then I noticed on the gadgets that neither one is showing up with the weather. Microsoft fixed that problem via QuickAssist and I thought that was the end of it. When I reinstalled Windows I had another app that gave me troubles, it was a burning program and it wouldn’t detect my burners. The gadgets I have are the Clock by CybertheWorm and VisionClock by xxenium and both were working properly until I followed Microsoft’s instructions. The clocks work on both but tint the weather. I’ve got several gadgets thru rainmeter running but only two of the have the addition of a weather report included with them (and they are both clocks). I’ll start by saying that Microsoft had me REinstall windows 10 about 2 weeks ago and that’s when this problem started. Thanks for having me here. ![]() ![]() ![]() The lowered opacity helps a little, but it's definitely not the best we could do. The drop shadow appears to be following the shapes of the waves below it somewhat, but that's only because the opacity of the drop shadow is set to its default of 75%, so some of the waves are showing through it. Normally, I'd get something that looks like this: I'm going to be adding some type over it and then adding a drop shadow to the type. Here's my original image, a simple photo of some water: ![]() If that sort of makes sense to you, great! If not, don't worry, it will by the time we're done this tutorial. Think of a displacement map as Photoshop moving pixels from "dis place to dis place". In fact, they're really quite simple.Īs we'll see in this Photoshop tutorial, a displacement map is really nothing more than a separate, black and white version of your image which Photoshop uses to figure out how to reshape your shadows so that they appear to be following the natural textures and depths of the background behind them, just like what a real shadow would do. Displacement maps are what the pros use to add realism to images, but don't let that scare you away. With a little help though, we can turn those plain, uninteresting drop shadows into something much more realistic looking by "mapping" our shadows onto the image using what's called a displacement map. It's fine for basic shadow effects, like making text appear to be raised slightly off the background on a web page, but if you're after something more photo realistic, the drop shadow on its own doesn't cut it. Let's face it, Photoshop's built-in drop shadow effect has it's limitations. ![]() ![]() ![]() The second contains the results obtained by doing background correction using Process/Subtract Background, selecting" Integrated Density" in Analyze/Set Measurements, and then measuring each of the 28 dots using a circular selectionįigure 4. This study presents a protocol of image analysis. In literature, few studies have been reported using image analysis for the quantification of protein in SDSPAGE: that is, imaged with StainFree technology. The "Use Inverting Lookup Table" option in Edit/Options/Image will invert the pixel data and invert the lookup tableĥ. The protein purity is generally checked using SDSPAGE, where densitometry could be used to quantify the protein bands. You can invert the lookup table (Image/Lookup Tables/Invert LUT) to restore the original appearance of the image. Notice how the image now has a black background? It was inverted (Edit/Invert) so background pixel values are near zero, which is required for correct calculation of integrated density. HOW TO QUANTIFY WESTERN BLOT BANDS using ImageJ Area Under The Peak Method Adwoa Biotech. After correcting the background, enable "Integrated Density" in Analyze/Set Measurements, create a circular selection, drag it over the first dot, press "m" (Analyze/Measure), then repeat for the other 27 dots. This method usually requires background correction of the image, which can be done using the Process/Subtract Background commandĤ. In the second method, you measure the integrated density of each dot by outlining it and using the Analyze/Measure command. Profile plots Figure 3. Profile plots of first rowģ. You can quantify by the following steps: 1) Open western image in Image J, select Rectangular Selections tool from the ImageJ toolbar and select. "Invert Peaks" in the Analyze/Gels/Gel Analyzer Options dialog was enabled to avoid having upside down peaksįigure 2. This is what you get when you treat each row in the dot blot as a horizontal "lane" and use the gel analysis procedure in the ImageJ manualĢ. The numbers on each peak are the size of the corresponding dot as a percentage of the total size of all the dots. The first is to treat each row as a horizontal "lane" and use ImageJ's gel analysis functionĢ. The second is to subtract the background and measure the integrated density of each dotġ.
